First-year resident students are not permitted to have vehicles, motor scooters or other motor-driven cycles on campus or within the city of Newport, except for electric motorized bicycles that may be propelled by human power or electric motor power, 或两个. First-Year Resident Student Violations

Only the Office of Safety and Security may authorize an exception to this policy. If an exception is granted, the student is responsible to get the name and badge number of the officer granting permission.

The city of Newport restricts parking on the following streets between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.:

• Narragansett Avenue

While the Office of Safety and Security strives to fairly and consistently enforce parking regulations, tickets are occasionally issued in error. When this happens, the following process offers an opportunity to appeal the violation.
